That Voodoo. You Do

This is a commission I did for Reverse Nurse on GaiaOnline.com. I had so much fun with her character. Not to mention I was so incredibly inspired after going to see At World's End Saturday night.
Anyhow... The green orbs were for her favorite color and were inspired by Mardi Gras beads. The designs at random in the background have no actual meaning (or aren't meant to at least). I just did them in the voodoo symbol style.

While this isn't the best likeness I've ever accomplished with pastels.... I think this is one of my favorite overall compositions.
